what we can do
Our mission is to eliminate plastic waste issues on a global basis. Working in this direction means to try to strongly reduce the energy consumption, but also to lower the CO2 emissions necessary to obtain terephthalic acid (TPA) and monoethylene glycol (MEG) from fossil fuels. We would like contribute to the change towards renewable sources, designing processes that are using waste as feedstock, in an infinite closed loop. We are now re-calculating/confirming all the values in the demo plant in Chieti, that is using gr3n technology.
Transform waste into a valuable source
Polyester is one of the most diffused polymer, so it is important to bring it to a circular value chain.
There is a huge CO2 consumption producing monomers form fossil fuels: with our process we can help reaching global target on carbon dioxide reduction.
Becoming (locally) circular
We think it is possible to close the loop working also at local scale, trying to reduce as much as possible treatments and transportations of harmful materials.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. With our technology we can help reaching those goals, especially for n. 12, 13 and 14.
